EMDR
What is EMDR?
EMDR is a psychological treatment that involves eye movement in reprocessing trauma and PTSD.
This is an interactive therapy treatment we offer that we have found to be incredibly effective in relieving psychological stress, and offering our clients new ways to view troubling memories and traumatic events.
EMDR reprocesses distressing thoughts and/or memories and even can sometimes create a visual block of them too. You will be able to recall the thoughts however you will struggle to get back those troublesome feelings and images.
This technique works for people of all ages, however, if you suffer with epilepsy and would like to choose this form of treatment, please make your therapist aware before they begin.
Havening Technique®
What is the Havening Technique®?
The Havening Technique® is an extraordinary application of a Psychosensory Therapy in the field of neurobiology. This method is designed to change the brain, to de-traumatise the memory and remove its negative effects from both the mind and the body. With the use of human touch this therapeutic tool can remove the emotional attachment to the consequences of any encoded traumatic or stressful memories.
Rewind Technique
What is Rewind Technique?
Rewind Technique is a non-intrusive non-voyeuristic, safe and highly effective psychological method for de-traumatising you, which can also be used for removing any phobias you may have. It should be carried out by an experienced practitioner and is only performed once you are in a state of relaxation.
This is a great technique if you are not wishing to disclose the trauma you have suffered. Besides being safe, quick and painless Rewind Technique provides a safe place for those wishing to eradicate what is troubling them.
As some people find talking about their past trauma triggers them, Rewind is particularly useful and non-intrusive leaving you feeling calm and peaceful.
